Monday 15th February - walk *** - Felixstowe circuit – All sorts today from rain first thing to sunny periods later, much milder with light winds, snows nearly all gone now.

After a week of cold, snowy, breezy weather with temperatures staying about freezing or below things are now getting much milder, hopefully raising to 15 degrees later in the week! I was tempted to go windsurfing at Nacton with high water in Ipswich at 2.25 but with rain first thing and the wind dropping I decided against it but loaded up the van with my gear to use soon:) So the morning was spent with me doing my exercises while Mag went to Lidl and then after lunch, we decided to have a walk down to the prom. It was a funny afternoon kinda gloomy, spooky low cloud with a high tide with some nice waves breaking over the prom down towards The Fludgers. It has been pretty lethal here with the road covered in ice making walking treacherous but with the ice all but gone loads of people were out and about enjoying a much safer walk! I stopped to take some pics of the waves before continuing onto Jacobs Ladder as we got a glimpse of sun and some blue sky:) Then up the steep steps and back through the town stopping to pick some newspapers from an old friend before making the fire and having the usaul rock cake and cuppa. Fingers crossed for some windsurfing in the week, perhaps not tomorrow as it looks very wet!
